In January 2017, Ngā Pae o te Māramatanga (NPM), Aotearoa New Zealand’s only Māori Centre of Research Excellence, proudly announced a joint partnership with SAGE Publishing. SAGE is the world’s 5th largest journal publisher and includes a portfolio of more than 1000 journals spanning the Humanities, Social Sciences, and Science, Technology, and Medicine, more than 400 published on behalf of learned societies and institutions.
2017 has focused on transitioning the journal to align processes and systems with the SAGE brand, discovery and implementation of journal management sites, upskilling of staff and training of new staff in these systems.
Online First - an option to view published articles ahead of the print version being made available
Email Alerts - sign up form, this is unique to the journal and enables users to customise alerts relevant to their needs
The second more well-known site is ScholarOne Manuscripts, otherwise known as ScholarOne Manuscripts. This new online submission and manuscript tracking portal, https://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/aln, offers online manuscript access that centralises the publication, tracking, and production processes through to full print.
