Content Revisions

You can actually save versions of your content that you can revert to just in case you need to. This is particularly useful if major changes have to be made and it's not yet been decided if the changes are set in stone.

Also, later on when there will be a workflow set up to facilitate the editing process, this will help editors and authors keep track of their changes.

  1. When you're making edits to your content, scroll down to the bottom of the page where you'll see Publishing Options
    • Click to expand this panel
  2. You'll see that it's automatically set to Published
    • Check the box Create new revision
    • This will enable you to save a version of your content that will remember the changes you have made
  3. Click Submit
  4. You will now see a link to Revisions beneath the content title
  5. Clicking this link will show you a list of the revisions that have been saved
    • If you click revert, this will get rid of all the edits you have made after that revision
    • You may also delete revisions if you no longer find them useful
