AlterNative is an interdisciplinary journal with a wide subscription base. We are read by academic, government, community and indigenous sectors. We offer a special subscription rate for registered Non-Government Organizations and Indigenous Organizations (NGO/IO) as well as standard student, individual and institutional rates.

Postage and packing is included in the subscription price.  All annual print plus online subscriptions run 1st March - 28th February unless otherwise arranged. Online only subscriptions start on the 1st day of the month after payment is received.

We offer a pro-rata rate for subscriptions starting outside our subscription period for the inital year of joining. Please contact the subscription manager at subscriptions [at] alternative [dot] ac [dot] nz.

Please note that we are currently re-issuing Volume 1, 2 and 3 (1) for easy referencing and consistency. All orders for these back issues will be dispatched as soon as the re-issued volumes are available.

Student subscriptions must be accompanied by a Student ID number and the name of Institution; payment only by personal cheque or credit card.

Individual subscriptions are only for single readers and must be paid for by a personal cheque or credit card. Individual copies are not for multiple readers or libraries. Proof of personal status may be requested.

NGO/IO is a subscription category for registered Non-Government Organizations & Indigenous Organizations. Payment can be made by cheque, credit card or on invoice.

Institutional subscription rates apply to libraries and corporate organizations with multiple readers. Online access is IP address/domain mediated. Payment can be made by cheque, credit card or on invoice.

Single back issues are sold subject to availability.

The reselling of subscriptions is prohibited.
